Ashraf & Partners Announces of Ahmad Khusyri Abdul Majid as a Partner

We are pleased to welcome Encik Ahmad Khusyri Bin Abdul Majid as a Partner of Ashraf & Partners, effective 1 November 2025.

Encik Ahmad Khusyri has 15 years’ post admission experience in the real estate industry. His career spans both legal practice and in-house experience, including a role as a legal executive with a construction company in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This blend of private practice and industry exposure enables him to provide practical and commercially focused advice.

A graduate of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), he has dedicated his career to advising individuals, corporations, statutory bodies, and financial institutions on a wide spectrum of property and commercial matters. His work covers commercial leases, acquisitions and disposals of real property, project financing, end-financing, and corporate banking, in both conventional and Islamic frameworks.

Encik Ahmad Khusyri has served in various capacities, including as Partner at Zul Rafique & Partners. He has acted on significant transactions such as advising Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Permodalan Nasional Berhad, Sime Darby Property Berhad, S P Setia Berhad, Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara, Urusharta Jemaah Sdn. Bhd., and major financial institutions including CIMB Islamic, OCBC Al-Amin, and Public Bank Berhad.

His leadership experience includes co-heading a Corporate Real Estate practice group with over 10 lawyers and staff, where he oversaw complex real estate development projects and provided end-to-end legal solutions to clients. In recognition of his expertise, Encik Ahmad Khusyri was named a Recommended Lawyer in Corporate Real Estate by The Legal 500 in 2023.

Beyond practice, he contributes actively to the profession as a committee member of the Kuala Lumpur Bar Conveyancing Practice Committee, a speaker at IIUM, and as a mentor in the legal community. He currently also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Moomoo Securities Malaysia Sdn. Bhd (a participating operations of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and a trading participant of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad).
