Intan Syahida binti Abu Samah is a Partner at Ashraf & Partners, focusing on conveyancing, real estate, project advisory, and Islamic family law matters. Her practice spans both civil and Syariah forums, where she advises on property transactions, loan and security documentation, and contractual arrangements, as well as representing clients in Syariah court proceedings involving custody, matrimonial property, hibah, and inheritance.
She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 22 August 2008, after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons.) and a Diploma in Judicial and Legal Administration (Diploma Pentadbiran Kehakiman dan Guaman Syarie) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2007.
With over 15 years of practice, Intan Syahida brings deep experience in *conveyancing, real estate, and project advisory work, where she has managed a wide spectrum of property transactions, loan and security documentation, tenancy negotiations, and contractual arrangements. She has acted for major financial institutions including Maybank, CIMB, BSN, Bank Rakyat and LPPSA, consistently delivering solutions aligned with regulatory requirements and commercial expectations.
Her practice is not confined to civil matters alone. As a qualified Peguam Syarie in Selangor (since 2016), Wilayah Persekutuan (since 2016), and Negeri Sembilan (since 2020), she extends her expertise in to Syariah legal forums, representing clients with professionalism and providing balanced and effective representation in matters involving custody, matrimonial property, hibah, and inheritance. She has substantial experience in handling Syariah court matters such as hadhanah (custody), harta sepencarian (matrimonial property), hibah (gifts) and faraid (Islamic inheritance distribution).
In the courtroom, Intan Syahida is well-versed in trial advocacy, having conducted full hearings, examined and cross-examined witnesses and advanced legal arguments before both civil and Syariah courts.
